That's better...

Just after I had my new baby (camera not actual baby) we went out for a walk to one of our favourite spots. It's a park called 'Himley', just around the corner from where we live and it's beautiful. After so much rain, to suddenly have sun and blue skies on this particular day was exciting. But to have a new camera after 3 months without, was practically intoxicating. I feel like without a camera to capture these moments, it's like it didn't happen. But zooming in, capturing and fixing it forever makes it real for me. Later I remember, I reflect and life seems a little sweeter.
I was rusty at first and the camera was different. I kept trying to switch it on in the wrong place leaving my finger clicking thin air where a button used to be. But we soon found our rhythm and it was good.
Have I mentioned how much I like my purple Wellingtons?
Forget the house I mentioned the other day, this will do nicely thank you.
These two are best friends now that Lucas is talking more. They play, they wrestle (much to my dismay), they whisper secrets, have in-jokes and run around in circles (just because). Lucas copies everything Isaac does, it's adorable.
They have completely different personalities though. Things that make them uniquely awesome.
Lucas is so strong, as strong as his brother already. When they wrestle it's pretty equal. The good parents that we are, we place bets on them (naturally). He climbs like a monkey, it's the getting him down that's the struggle. He can also kick and ball in the direction he intends and can throw and catch like a pro. Well better than me at least which is a tad embarrassing...

Isaac may someday be an inventor, or a builder, or an explorer with a part time position as a super hero. I have no doubt he would excel in these fields  He likes to imagine and create. He has already planned out his 'invention house' that he will design and build when he is a grown up. Again, of this I have no doubt. Also good God this kid is funny. Too funny I think, he is already the class clown. *rolls eyes* You see, he doesn't need actual water to go fishing. In his imagination he is already right there in the Amazon...
Anyway I digress...

We also spend a lot of our time on these kind of walks acting as sheepdog to our herd of one: Lucas. He's a runner people...

Can't believe I let Tim have my camera again after breaking my last one. There is also a beautiful lake here...
Which means Isaac doesn't need to pretend anymore and Lucas can wash the dog poo from his Wellies...

We just have to be aware of the crazy ducks/birds who are accustomed to a certain level of feeding...
They know exactly how to get the goods though. Total show offs...

 Ooh-la-la...

They are not the only animals we need to keep an eye out for...
 Seriously?
All that remains is to capture with my new baby/camera the things that delight my eyes...

After all that camera fun I was all like *ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh* that's better...
