Favourite spot!

There was one rare maybe even magical day in the last month when we were all healthy. And it literally only lasted a day. So treading lightly to not to give the germs any ideas we went to one of our favourite spots, I was keen to photograph parts of it that I haven't captured before...
Because there is always something new to find in the familiar...

    1. Yes Sian...I think little Isaac is probably outsmarting you- we all get so lost on our journey and forget the "real" in life. Good thing is that our children are still "real" and can remind us and keep us in check.
      Alright then

  2. Anytime I find myself wishing for something I'm not, I am reminded of the opening lyrics to the song "Tree Hugger" by Kimya Dawson and I am reminded how silly it is to wish for something you're not when what you already are is just as awesome:

The flower said, "I wish I was a tree,"
The tree said, "I wish I could be
    A different kind of tree,
The cat wished that it was a bee,
The turtle wished that it could fly
    Really high into the sky,
    Over rooftops and then dive
    Deep into the sea.

And in the sea there is a fish,
A fish that has a secret wish,
A wish to be a big cactus
With a pink flower on it.
And in the sea there is a fish,
A fish that has a secret wish,
A wish to be a big cactus
With a pink flower on it.
